Have a Nice Day

Today is the first day of the rest of my life!

So today I start on my journey in the BIG world of posting a Blog. I'm not sure about were to start. So I'll just start with today.

I woke up and decided to roll and try and push myself up to a sitting position, lol. That is a chore in of itself. But I managed to sit there on the edge of bed thinking why am I getting out of bed so early. After all it was only 5:30 am. "Oh yeah" I said to myself my puppy, her name is Daisy, needs to go outside. Bummer I just want to go back to sleep. Well OK, I will get my sweat shirt and sweat pants on. Oh don't forget the fuzzy slippers. I know my nosy and I do mean nosy neighbors will be outside so I try to keep the puppy quite.

Now she is very  vocal dog and she loves to talk to people. If I even think of having a conversation with someone she get jealous that they are not talking to her she starts talking to them. Her talking woooo woooo might sound like howling to some, but that is her talking. So just when I think I am in the clear we made it for 5 minutes of our walk with out her talking and waking up anyone. She turns around and sees one of her friends walking behind us. It is our neighbor that walks and probably walks so early because it is so quite. He gets a bit closer and she is talking at this point. When he reaches us he gives her some love and then realizes his nose is running. Now she doesn't understand what he is doing and why he stopped petting her. So she must be thinking to herself herself "I know, if I tuck my tail in and run really fast in circles circle circle, surely he'll start petting me again". You can imagine her disappointment when he walks of say "you girls have a nice day!". After all she danced plus sang for him and he just leaves oh whatever! she thinks to herself I am guessing. About this time a  squirrel runs up a tree so the puppy in her returned.

We begin on our venture again, I think I forgot to mention that a few dogs joined in the conversation by now and a few more porch lights have been turned on. Also like I said earlier we have some nosy nosy neighbors. So of course with all this you would think sirens had sounded because most all the neighbors are standing there at their windows in there jammies just staring outside and as I look at them they give a look like they are star gazing or maybe checking for a full moon. I just think to myself why did I put the sweats on when I could have just worn my jammies outside and if anyone noticed I could have looked up at the stars or looked for that full moon. Maybe tomorrow ha ha I start laughing in my head. That's much better than talking to myself right or laughing out loud. Don't after all want to give the neighbors any other reason to stare or talk about me to the other neighbors. Of course I have never given them any other reason to talk Ha Ha again with the laughing urg. I really need to stop having this conversation in my head. So lol I start talking to my puppy.

Like I said we started back on our venture we began around the corner on to a whole new set of neighbors and her comes friend number 2. Now friend 2 has a little puppy her name is Abby. Abby is the cutest little puppy, but she is not sure about Daisy. Abby's mommy always stops and says hi to Daisy and low and behold Abby starts singing and dancing. Wait a minute Daisy says "wait I can sing and dance too". So here we go again Daisy woooo circle circle woooo circle circle woooo, Abby circle circle wimp wimp circle circle wimp wimp. Then Ha Ha goes off in my brain. Porch lights come on and  the curtains fly open and more neighbors in their jammies start star gazing just like the other neighbors. Wow holy moly star gazing is sure popular this morning I think to myself. So friend 2 and I say "Have a nice day!" to each other. We begin on our way again.

Daisy and I head around the next corner oh my Brutus and Roscoe are outside so Daisy sings again Woooo circle circle woooo circle circle and then Brutus and Roscoe forget were they are supposed to be and they come running wooof wooof slobber slobber wooof wooof. So normally Brutus and Roscoe's dad is off to work at this time but he must be off of work today so he offers to let the kids play in his yard. Probably wants the star glaziers to be able to concentrate on the stars. So we herd Daisy, Brutus and Roscoe into the yard unleash them the race is on round and round they go were they stop no one knows. I'm betting on brown and white "oh no there is crash on the third lap heave pile up it's awful there is so much wait for it SLOBBER everywhere"  Ha Ha you thought I was going to say something else. Come on you did didn't you? The puppy's go for a few more laps, quite a few. Now it time for my coffee so Daisy lets me put her leash on her and we are off. But not before Brutus and Roscoe's dad and mom and I say "Have a nice day!"

Now you would think Daisy would slow down by now, Ha Ha there that voice goes again. She goes full steam ahead chug chug Wooo Wooo and behind corner number 4 is big pause is Lucy and her mom. Here we go again woooo woooo circle circle woooo woooo circle circle just then I here Woof Woof m m m m Woof Woof. As we approach Lucy's yard we are invited in again for play time and Lucy and Daisy now tromp, chase, run and play for a bit while Lucy's mom and I chat for a bit. As Daisy and I get ready to head home Lucy's Mom and I give each other a Hug for encouragement and say to each other "Have a nice Day"

These dogs teach us one little thing. Rather than sit in the house and stare out into the world wondering what everyone else has or is doing. Come from behind their looking glass and come off your high porches. Come out and meet and greet your neighbors whether they laugh inside there head, talk to themselves, woooo, wimpier, wooof, slobber or just m m m m. It really doesn't matter.

Daisy and I finally get back home I get that cup of coffee and Daisy gets that drink of water  I think to myself I wonder how many people would just like to hear
HAVE A NICE DAY!
